This video I found on YouTube really brought forward the pain and suffering in Haiti. I feel like in this day and age it's very easy to ignore disasters that don't directly effect us. As Christians I feel like empathy and understanding is very important. This video really made me empathisize with the people in Haiti and have a better idea what they had to go through. I've never been in a situation like this and I hope it never happens but I do believe that it is my duty as a Christian to try to have a better understanding to make a better effort to help.
This is a picture of some Red Cross workers in Haiti. I chose this picture to show not only the complete mess that these people have to deal with, but to show all the help that is being done. A disaster like this should take a worldwide effort to help clean up. Thankfully, from what I've heard and read in the news there has been a lot of help and a lot of donations of money to help clean up this sad disaster.
